In Word, and in fact all programs from the Office 2007 suite, I can't drag the mouse pointer to select text. Next I was going to try the AddIn key located HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft Office\12.0\Word\Addins but there was none.  I did have a key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft Office\Word\Addins (no 12 folder).  I tried renaming that.  This Delete the whole Data set. Cannot Highlight Text In Word 2013 Thanks for the link!
