I tried most of the above and also updated with a new modem from Comcast, which they had been sending me messages about. Sometimes pages load completely, yet other times the loading times out. (My Network and Sharing Center says I have a connection with good send and receive activity per an HP technician. Old machines often have older wireless devices with old wireless drivers, etc, etc so that may be your problem.
