Once I create a DVD with that file and use the valid MPEG2 format, I no longer need the DIVX codec, only a valid MPEG2 codec.

All of a sudden the files are either really green or really purple, i deleted the programs and re-installed them but the problem persists. The colors are inverted. Good alternatives for the default ones are madVR and Haali. Kawaii Codec Pack Change the video renderer in Media Player Classic. Either this, or I'll get one or two frames in color and it'll go back to normal size again. This brings up the video acceleration settings.

Not that I wouldn't still like to see it definitively fixed! Mpc-be By default it uses the Overlay Mixer (on XP) or EVR CP (on Vista/Seven). There is no color also in Media Player Classic either.
