Another thing I did was dissociate .wma files from my WinAmp player, which I don't use much any more. Both methods require wmp to rescan the music library but it's the only way I've managed to get it to read my music. Folders gives me "G:" -- the drive I store my media on. Please try the request again. It's also interesting that the playlists from my pc all show up on the 2000 -- why, when the rest of "Music" doesn't? Your comment about whether there are a lot of other media files, like pictures, which may make it hang up, is interesting. If selecting these libraries works just like selecting Playlists does then the problem isn't likely to be caused by too many media files.

  • I do not store music in "My Documents/Music.
  • I have one main drive on my pc, with several partitions.
  • I've been trying to figure out why a handful of albums comes up on the 2000 -- even checked Users/[my name]/My Documents and AppData to see whether those albums are somehow
  • Do you keep all your media in the My Documents folder on your C: drive?
  • BUT I CAN'T FIND THE PROGRAM ANYWHERE!!

Other than that, there are a hilarious number of MP3 playing software out there. Check to see that that you've configured Serviio correctly.
