Windows XP Pro Install Does Not Recognize USB Keyboard


I would just let it fix them for you since the choices can sometimes be confusing and technical for the novice user. Looks like I may do a re-install (or repair?) of Windows but have a couple of questions. At first it would attempt to boot into XP and get a bluescreen, always, even with safe mode. The adapter works fine under most situations however, it looks like Windows XP Professional Setup can't handle it. Check This Out

It didn't recognise it, didn't get past BIOS as it said there was no keyboard installed. It may be necessary to reactivate your Windows XP as well. I would consider the below advice from Blackhatjack also he is correct, this issue could be a number of things. It will not boot to windows so it never "sees" the keyboard or mouse.
