A tech guy came by and they said the issue was on their end - apparently the dude who installed the switch messed up. Unplug the power plug to the Modem and the Router. previously i had a geforce 8600 graphics card, which needed to be replaced, and due to budget constraints, i purchased a geforce 210 to swap with the bad 8600. see this I have to go home and cycle the router and the PC...hopefully that works...if not???

Make sure you restart the computer after it is done. Tuesday night (midnight) my internet drops on all my LAN (wired) computers.
If none of those tests fixes the problem, the problem is with your PC. Turned off the PS3.. No operation can be performed on Wireless Network Connection while it has its me dia disconnected. If not please run it and see if that helps.
