Windows Search uses something called an iFilter to help it index files, and the PDF iFilter for 64-bit Windows is missing. (This probably applies to 64-bit Vista and 64-bit XP too). I have again tested the scenario over Windows 2003 Standard with SP2 and I am unable to notice the problem in either of the following approach. File it!Keep in touch!

The search highlighting will be addressed in the next Acrobat and Reader 9 updates due out on the 13th of September 2011 as detailed in this technical note. When I use that option in the search, adobe acrobat/reader opens, then quickly closes and I get (0) search results. However, I would like to clarify that the PDF search issue in 64-bit Windows is not a problem in Windows due to some reason. Please share that you have created the PDF document and have performed the search over Windows Server 2003 edition or have used different operating systems ? This is something find and search can use. I wonder if Windows 10 still suffers from the issues that Windows 7 and Windows 8 do. That is, unless you are running the 64-bit version of Windows 7 or Windows 8. You can not post a blank message.
