I can boot into System Restore by hitting F11, so that F8 doesn't work as suggested in what I've found out caused by using a USB keyboard shouldn't apply. I'm on vacation till 16 April. Repairing Windows replaces these important files without removing or changing anything else on your computer.Note: In Windows 10, 8, 7 & Vista this is called a Startup Repair.
