It's not for improved throughput; I doubt that Windows could effectively divide traffic between two networks like that. You cannot run 2 PCs off your connection without using DHCP or by using Internet Connection >Sharing(ICS) with one PC as ICS host and the other as ICS client. Trying the method suggested by AlBravo did work, though - YAY!!! Provide any extra information that you can if you still experience trouble, such as the full name of your computer (Is it a Dell, and what kind, etc). check my blog
It doesn't seem like this should be so hard.
