If its because of a bad sector, you could run spinwrite.... And from there I would use "Remote Registry" to get in and replace the corrupt reg. Loading... Windows makes a backup of the those files when it shuts down. All was good. Loading... Use the Repair Console tool to replace the backup copy of the System hive from the repair folder.
