I will go ahead and download the software you indicate below, but just wanted to highlight that the files currently play fine in QuickTime - the issue is playing them in its really odd. I had tried to install k-lite with no luck, every mp3 file wont play in media player. Every other software pack works fine. Click the "File" menu at the top of the screen, then click "Open." Alternatively, press the "Ctrl" and "O" keys simultaneously.StepBrowse to the location of the video file and double click It never caused any problems for me (and neither have I heard from others). I fixed it by going into "playback devices -> configure -> then changing from 5.1 to stereo. Open media player and all mp3 now work.
you saved me. LOL MAYBE WE CN COME UP WITH AN IDEA AND BUILD A SOFTWARE THAT PLAYS ALL WM WV MPEG AND CRAPS LIKE THAT ! WMP 11 was able to play the file no problem. If you have the DivX codec installed, for instance, you don't need the XVid codec.
