Next thing i saw ie asked for missing plugins (on one site it was about rights managment, on other with divx webplayer). I changed to use proxy settings of the web browser but the stream still doesn't play. i found a 'registry repairer', which supposidly fixed about 170 problems... Could there be a connection with the sp2 service pack? also, i run a webserver that has streaming mp3s that i get the same error when i connect to within the local intranet (ie: hxxp://computername/stream.mp3). After much recearch I found this forum and followed the William's guide. i have window xp and wmp 11.i couldn't see the streaming videos using wmp 11.but when i change the connection speed it started working for me.the only thing i did was Open firefox browser (i haven't tried it on other browsers) 2. But I do have some additional question: Is it possible to secure streams from saving/downloading? WMP10 does not have this problem in IE.
