Then type cd c:\windows\winsxs and press enter 6. I ran a very low priority update, singled it out, and it worked. I ran a couple more low-priority updates and they worked... Have been struggling for days to update a fresh install of Win 7 Pro SP1 and this did the trick. Very happy now!
