What I did was download Linux onto a bootable usb stick and from within Linux I was able to get rid of the Windows folder and then I secure erased the All of them will see each other by the name that you have given them. When Windows 7 is running, it's doing so on the C:\ drive so you're asking it to format itself out of existence. If you do that you should format that vista drive and reinstall windows xp and then install vista form xp.
